Today was a good session, decided to have a play with some overhead squats (a lift I don’t usually practice at all) went super light and focused on my technique, I love sessions where you take it back to basic, focus on correct form, I’m not scared to be a beginner 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 super light over head squats today and it just felt so good to change it up! 💪🏻..

I'm fairly certain most of us know the frustrations that we feel after an unexpected binge...especially if you are trying to lose weight! It feels pretty damn awful and can be quite demotivating!⁣
.⁣
But hey you're human and it happens! So instead of feeling down in the dumps about it, here are some tips to help you reset if you do happen to have a binge...⁣
.⁣
1️⃣ DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP - Anyone who has been there knows that the aftermath of a binge is truly awful! Try not to let the negative emotions pile on. Instead it accept it, move on and try to learn from it for next time. ⁣
.⁣
2️⃣ DRINKS LOTS OF WATER - Water can help to flush out the toxins in your body and will make you feel better. ⁣
.⁣
3️⃣ TAKE A WALK - Grab your headphones and your pooch if you have one and take a nice walk outside. Walking is a great aid for digestion and can ease any discomfort you may be feeling. ⁣
.⁣
4️⃣ DON'T DEPRIVE YOURSELF OF YOUR NEXT MEAL - It's important you don't go into 'damage control' mode and start skipping meals as this will only increase your hunger and make you feel worse as you try to combat new and stronger cravings. Eat clean, whole foods and be sure to add some protein into each meal.⁣
.⁣
5️⃣ GET BACK ON TRACK - Don't get stuck in a negative mindset but instead pick up where you left off. Push away any excuses, plan your meals and schedule your workouts!⁣
.⁣
If you feel as though you struggle with binge eating, I encourage you to take a good look at your diet. As a coach, I often find that people who restrict themselves too much are more likely to binge eat. ⁣
.⁣
You need to find a healthy, balanced approach to your dieting that is tasty, enjoyable and fits into your lifestyle 💗⁣
.⁣
